Team building activity- Become a time travel inspector in Barcelona!
A funny team building and city discovery tour is the best way to connect your employees and create memories that are not connected to the office. This experience is an interesting way to get to know Barcelona. It is an intellectual and physical activity, a funny game full of knowledge which will show you this beautiful city from a different angle and keep your group amused.
There is a time robber stealing important items from Barcelona’s past. As a time travel inspector, you have to make sure that those artefacts are returned to their owners, otherwise, the course of the history will be changed forever…your goal is to meet with your contacts (Orwell, Gaudi, Christopher Columbus…) and find what has been taken!!
Each place has some secret story that you must seek out in order to solve the clues and get ahead of the game. As a time travel inspector you will meet many historical figures asGaudi, Picasso or Christopher Columbus. You do not have much time to make contact, so be fast, creative and break the code and solve the mystery!
The Historic City quest could begin on the steps of the Plaça del Rei, for example, where you will meet a concerned and lost Christopher Columbus. He is just returned from discovering water route to India and he is keen to share the story of his adventures. He also needs your help to find the exact place where he is meeting with Ferdinand and Isabella (Salon de Tinell). The final answer will lead you to your next destination. The city’s secrets are yours to discover.
Time travel inspectors is based on a simple and fun concept: discovering a city through backstreets of the old town where they have to solve series of problems using their good team work, creativity, orientations skills, attention to details and time, but having fun at the same time! The aim of the game is discover Barcelona and its history through interaction with the famous characters played by professional actors. As they tell their story, history comes true. Participants must take care to fill in the booklets they have been given at the start, as later they will be quizzed on their findings.
The entire activity takes around 3 to 3,5 hours and generally includes:
– All the necessary material (folders, documentation…)
– One drink per participant
– logistics & support ( activity co-ordination, actors& actresses, costumes…)
