This festival is celebrated in all villages and cities of Minorca the 23rd and 24th June, but the official feast of St Joan takes place in the town of Ciutadella, in the Plaza del Born. It marks the beginning of all the summer festivals. It is celebrated for 3 days namely the Day of the Ram, Saint Joan’s Eve and Saint Joan’s Day itself. SAILING ADVENTURE TO MINORCA
Day 23 – ThursdayYou will set sail from Olympic Port (Barcelona) at 05h aboard a magnificent Oceanis 50 sailing boat. Destination: Minorca
– Distance to Destination: 110 miles (Punta Nati)
– Estimated arrival time: 8pm – 9m, Thursday, depending on weather conditions.
During this magical night it will be waning moon and the sunset will be at 21:47h. We will choose the best place to anchor depending on wind predictions. Then, we will go to Ciutadella to enjoy the fabulous popular festival.
The day will be filled with the excitement of sailing in the straits and exploring the coves and secret places of Minorca. If you wish, you can attend the popular festival once again.
With either choice, the rugged north area or the white sand small beaches of the south, you will sail through breathtaking scenery and see plenty of local wildlife.

South coves: Turqueta, Galdana, Son Saura…
After lunch, we will get ready for another sailing day towards Barcelona.
Arrival to Barcelona Olympic Port at midday, end of the sailing adventure.
*In these four nautical days, you will be a part of an offshore passage where you will participate in the sailing and navigation, using all the electronic devices such as GPS, Radar, AIS, etc.- Price per person: 330€ VAT included
